For eQ sales managers

Manager Section Guide

How to use Dashboard, Team Overview, Reports and Leaderboards to review your team's pipeline, support agents and follow up on training in the eQ CRM Success Center.

1. Signing in

  1. 1Choose Sign in from the top navigation and use your work email and password.
  2. 2Manager navigation appears automatically once you are signed in with manager access.
  3. 3If you do not see the Manager menu, ask the portal owner to grant your account manager access.

2. Dashboard — start with the team picture

Choose Manager, then Dashboard. Use this page to identify what needs attention before opening the detailed reports.

  1. 1Choose a Team when the selector is available. All my teams covers your permitted teams; All teams is available to accounts with full-team access.
  2. 2Choose 7d, 14d or 30d to set the activity window. Calls, emails, meetings and new contacts use that window; Won (30 days) stays on its own 30-day window.
  3. 3Review Open pipeline for the value and count of open deals, Won (30 days) for recent closed-won results, and Closing soon for deals with close dates within the next 21 days or already overdue. Check the accompanying past or missing close-date count for gaps.
  4. 4Check Activity, New contacts and People in view, then compare Training complete with the number of people who have signed into the Success Center.
  5. 5Read Pipeline by stage to see where value is concentrated. Use By agent, sorted by value closed won in the last 30 days, to identify agents who need follow-up or recognition.
  6. 6Use the Go deeper links to open Team reports, Team setup tracking or Leaderboard & wins.

The activity window does not turn the whole dashboard into a historical snapshot: open pipeline reflects current open deals, and training reflects saved progress. Read warnings before interpreting missing or partial numbers.

3. Adding and managing users

Go to Manager then Manager access.

  1. 1Use Add a user to create an account: name, work email, a temporary password and the role of agent or manager.
  2. 2Send the person their email address and temporary password.
  3. 3All existing users appear in the table below with role and last sign-in.
  4. 4Promote or demote a user with the role action on their row.
  5. 5Use the pencil icon to correct a user's display name. The new name appears everywhere.

Only give manager access to people who should review staff progress and manage users. HubSpot team visibility also depends on team assignments and full-team access.

4. Team Overview — support each agent

Choose Manager, then Team Overview. The page heading is Team setup tracking, and its three tabs cover different kinds of follow-through.

  1. 1Start on Progress and choose Review completed steps for an agent to inspect their completed steps, confirmation details and reset history. Export CSV downloads the training progress table when you need a saved review copy.
  2. 2Use Leaderboard to compare saved training points, level, streak, completed items and meetings recorded. The Award action is for deliberate recognition, not correcting HubSpot activity totals.
  3. 3Open Meetings to review meeting outcomes and identify overdue follow-up. Discuss gaps with the assigned agent before taking action.
  4. 4Use Manager access for user administration, or Reports for the live activity and pipeline views.
  • Progress: every agent's training completion against the assigned steps.
  • Leaderboard: points, level, streak, completions and meetings recorded.
  • Meetings: every tracked agent's meetings from the last 45 days plus everything upcoming.

Team Overview shows registered training users, not a filtered copy of the Dashboard's selected team. Its Leaderboard tab is the training leaderboard, not the separate HubSpot activity leaderboard. Completion indicates recorded progress, not automatic proof of sales readiness.

Open Team Overview

5. Reviewing training progress

  1. 1Open the Progress tab and look at each agent's completion count.
  2. 2Check how each step was confirmed: agent confirmed, recorded by the app, or verified in HubSpot.
  3. 3Where a step was not done properly, reset it and give a reason.
  4. 4The previous completion is kept in history along with who reset it and when.
  5. 5The agent sees the retraining note and must complete the step again.

6. Meetings

  • The Close Meetings page shows the whole tracked team's open meetings, with the assigned agent named on each card.
  • You can close out a meeting and move a deal stage on an agent's behalf.
  • Overdue meetings are listed before upcoming ones so gaps are obvious.

7. Reports — examine activity and pipeline

Choose Manager, then Reports. The page heading is Team reports, with Activity summary and Deal report tabs.

  1. 1Choose Last 7 days, Last 30 days or Last 90 days. Use the same range when comparing agents or reviewing the same period again.
  2. 2Open Activity summary to compare each agent's new contacts, emails, calls, meetings and tasks recorded in HubSpot during the selected range.
  3. 3Open Deal report to review pipeline totals, stage distribution, deals by agent and new deals created during the selected range.
  4. 4Look for patterns such as low logged activity or a concentration of deals in one stage. Confirm the underlying records in HubSpot before deciding what the numbers mean.
  5. 5Agree a specific next action with the agent, then revisit the same report and range at your next review.

The selected range applies to activity and new-deal counts, not every pipeline total. Logged activity measures what was recorded, not conversation quality or buying intent. This page has no CSV export control.

8. Leaderboards — recognise progress and follow-through

Choose Leaderboard in the Manager menu for individual standings, recent wins and meeting close-outs.

  1. 1Use the team selector, when shown, to compare the appropriate team. Individual standings combine saved training points with HubSpot work from the last 30 days.
  2. 2Review the score breakdown rather than rank alone: contacts, calls, emails, meetings, tasks and deals help explain the total.
  3. 3Check Recent wins for booked deals and training badges, then Meeting close-outs for recorded follow-through and deal-stage moves.
  4. 4Compare these standings with the training-only Leaderboard tab in Team Overview. The two views answer different questions and can show different rankings.

Use standings to start coaching conversations and recognise effort, not as a substitute for verifying outcomes. A missing agent may reflect team membership, sales-seat eligibility or an unlinked training profile; it does not necessarily mean no work was done.

Open individual Leaderboard

9. Team Leaderboard — compare teams fairly

Choose Team Leaderboard in the Manager menu, or Open the team leaderboard from the individual standings page.

  • Choose an available date window before comparing results.
  • Teams rank by average points per member, not simply total points. This lets you compare teams of different sizes more meaningfully.
  • Read Avg / member alongside Total pts, Training, Calls, Emails, Meetings and Won to understand how each team earned its place. This board awards deal points for closed-won deals, while individual standings award deal points for newly created deals.
  • Your own team is highlighted. Use Individual leaderboard to return to the agent view when you need more detail.

10. A suggested weekly review

  1. 1Monday: review last week's activity summary and the meetings that were never closed out.
  2. 2Midweek: check training progress and reset anything that was ticked without being done.
  3. 3Friday: review the deal report and the leaderboard, and recognise the week's strongest activity.

11. Missing data or access

  • If Manager is missing from the navigation, refresh or sign out and back in after access is granted. Ask the portal owner if it is still missing.
  • Check the selected team and date window before treating an empty result as zero activity. HubSpot sales-seat users and registered training users are different rosters.
  • If a HubSpot report fails, refresh once and read any warning. Ask the portal owner to check the connection's permissions if it continues; do not change the connection or workflows to troubleshoot a training guide.
  • If an agent is missing, confirm their account, HubSpot team membership, sales-seat eligibility and training-profile match with the portal owner.

12. Data and privacy

  • Manager access enables management pages; team-scoped HubSpot views still follow your permitted teams. Full-team access is separate from ordinary manager access.
  • Agents see only their own data and cannot reach manager pages.
  • All HubSpot access happens on the server. Credentials are never exposed in the browser.
